Sueellen Ross began
drawing animals as soon as she could hold a pencil. She's still at it,
after almost twenty years as a full-time professional artist. Especially
known for her masterful and delightful cat and wildlife portraits, Sueellen
combines her passion for making art with her love of animals to create works of
strong design and subtle wit. "My strength as an artist comes from my
deep love of the subjects."
Sueellen's paintings, etchings, and other prints have been exhibited
worldwide. She has been juried into the prestigious "Birds in
Art" show at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum in Wausau, Wisc., and
"Arts for the Park" in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In 1999 she was
Featured Artist of the Pacific Rim Art Exposition. Her book,
"Painting Radiant Realism," was North Light Press's best selling book
in the first quarter of its release. In the past year she has been
featured in U.S. ART, Wildlife Art and InformArt magazines.
