How do I place an order?
Easy ways to order:
1.If you wish to order with visa, mastercard or Paypal on our secure
server click on the "buy now" button that looks like this:

2. If you wish
to order by phone, one of our
specialists will be happy to help you. Simply call: 1-800-528-4278 toll free

gallery hours. We accept visa
and mastercard.
3. If you wish to order by fax send a fax to (780)464-1493
Include: title of artwork, name of artist and your full contact
info. We will contact you to verify.
4. If you wish to order by mail send: title of artwork, name of
artist and your contact info to:

When mailing you may include a money order
or credit card info, however it would be a good idea, to call 1-800-528-4278
to verify that the artwork is available before mailing.
How do I redeem a
gift card or gift certificate?
Gift cards and gift certificates are easy to
redeem. Simply show the gift card or certificate at the time of purchase and
the credit will be applied to your purchase.
Do you charge sales tax?
For orders shipped to Canada addresses
there is a 6% goods and services tax (GST). The GST will change to
5% January 1, 2008. We do not charge a provincial sales tax (PST) as
there is no PST in Alberta.
For orders shipped to destinations outside of Canada we do not
charge a tax. Customers are requested to comply with their
state's/country's tax regulations regarding internet purchases.
How can I check the
status of an order?
We make every effort to pass along new information to you by email
or phone regarding your order. You are welcome to
contact us
to inquire further about your order status.
What is your return policy?
Simple
process for returning an item:
1.
Contact our Customer Care by either calling 1-800-528-4278 or
e-mailing us at
info@picturethisgallery.com to obtain return instructions.
2.
We
can provide you with a Return Service label or for an
additional charge, we can set up a pick up for you. You are
responsible for shipping costs. We will send you a return label via
email.
3. Repack the product in its
original packaging materials, unless the package's condition is not
suitable for a safe return back to Picture This framing & gallery.
You are responsible for artwork damaged in return transit.
If you are returning a product because it was
defective or we shipped you an item that you did not order, Picture
This framing & gallery will pay the return-shipping costs.

Can I send my order as a
gift?
Yes, art and
picture framing make great gifts and can be sent with a
complimentary, handwritten gift card. Just type in your Gift Message
in the comments area when ordering online, and list your lucky
recipient as the Ship To address or
contact us to talk to
a live person during regular
gallery hours.
What about refunds?
You can expect a refund in the
same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14
business days of Picture This framing & gallery receiving your
return, providing it arrives safely. You will be credited for the
price of the artwork minus shipping costs, Picture This framing &
gallery does not credit you the shipping and handling costs. We
cannot accept items that have been damaged or altered. We will
notify you of the status of your return by e-mail or postal mail. If
you have any questions, please call us toll free 1-800-528-4278,
M-F, 10am-6pm, Thursdays 10am-9pm Saturdays 10am-5pm. (MST).

We do ship
packages to P.O. boxes in Canada through Canada Post. To the US a
street address is required.
What if my item

damaged in transit?
If your
package appears damaged, or once opened, you find damaged artwork,
call us toll free,1-800-528-4278 so we can arrange to have it picked
up and inspected. Please retain all of the original packing
materials.

What is a giclee?
Giclee is
a french word meaning “to spray”. Ink-jet
technology specifically for fine art reproduction. The ink-jet printer produces over four million droplets of ink,
each second, that combine to form more than two thousand shades of color.
The information controlling the jets comes directly from a computer - no
printing film or plates are required. The computer's information is scanned
directly from the artist's original work. This modern method of creating
reproductions is gaining in popularity because of it’s ability to
closely resemble the original.
What is conservation framing?
Conservation framing is the careful maintenance and protection of
works of art.
In conservation (preservation) framing, using materials and
procedures that will have no adverse effects on a piece of artwork
and will protect the artwork.
What is an original?
Original as defined by the dictionaries: Preceding all others
in time; first. Any work considered to be an authentic creation by
an artist, rather than a copy, reproduction or imitation. Original
comes from the word origin.
Origin: the place where something begins, where it springs into
being.
What is a limited edition print?
A reproduction
of an original work of art that is signed and sequentially numbered
by the artist and is limited to a certain quantity of numbered
copies. The first number indicates the number of the piece; the
second number indicates the total quantity of the edition, e.g.,
135/250.
What is a poster?
A poster is an
inexpensive printed copy of a piece of artwork in unlimited
quantities. Generally four-color lithographic reproductions of a
painting, usually with colored borders and wording on or around the
image to advertise an artist, show or event. This art medium comes
from the ancient practice of "posting" messages in public places.
