“Despite their noisy sometimes bossy nature, I find blue jays to be absolutely beautiful birds. The coloration of their feathers is exquisite and I enjoy painting them. I hope the next time you will see one you will take a closer look… And perhaps you didn’t know that blue jays play an important role in helping ‘re-seed’ forests they often do not retrieve the acorns and seeds they bury in the fall.”
