I have hiked in our foothills for many years and am always entranced by the brilliance of the colors as the sun streaks through the clouds. It is as if a permanent image is imprinted on my mind, never to be erased; always to be recalled in the quiet of the silent hours. I feel all renewed in my body and soul.
