“This painting was inspired by all the great authors I grew up reading,” says artist Morgan Weistling. “I remember that wondrous time of being transported to other worlds and exciting adventures wherever I happened to be, so long as I had a book with me. I now see my youngest daughter carry a book wherever we go and it makes me so happy to know she is exercising her imagination daily with her books. So this is my ode to the reader in all of us.”
