Artwork Description
This painting was inspired by my first trip to Maligne Lake. I was flipping through photos I had taken years ago when I came across this image. It brought back some great memories of hiking with friends as we were just getting to know our way around Jasper National Park. The mountains towering above the Lake and the juxtaposition of light and shadow struck me back then and continue to inspire me still.
