the stockings are filled and the garland is hung,
with the smell of fresh cookies we’re once again young.
Giddy with pleasure at what they will see,
we’re assembling and wrapping for a magical tree,
A cheers to celebrate all that we’ve done,
surely Santa won’t mind if we have just one . . .
