This barn owl was posing so beautifully that I of course had to paint him. While researching these birds I was surprised to find out that they are on every continent except for Antarctica! Their colour pattern varies a bit from place to place, but overall, if you know what a barn owl looks like, you will be able to pick it out any place in the world. This particular one is from Australia.
