Artwork Description
I was heading home from an uneventful day of hiking and birding last Spring when I noticed some movement in a nearby Wisteria tree. Darting in and out of the tangled vines were a pair of Yellowthroats hunting insects.I chose to depict the male also known as the yellow bandit. I loved the combination of the rich purple/violet flower clusters and the striking little male warbler.
