Born in 1973 in the picturesque Pacific Northwest region of the United States, Bogle’s artistic journey began at a young age, inspired by the rich natural beauty that surrounded him. The son of a renowned American artist, Collin learned the concepts of technique, composition and design from his father, Lee Bogle, later refining his skills and setting out on his own artistic path. In the fifteen years since he burst onto the art scene, award-winning artist Collin Bogle has created a national following for his strikingly realistic wildlife and floral images. His remarkable ability to capture detail and to master the use of light in natural settings became hallmarks of his work. “Light plays a major role in my work,” states the artist. “An abundance of light and shadows creates a playground for me, and allows a painting to take on a life of its own.” Bogle’s artistic versatility knows no bounds, as he seamlessly transitions between mediums such as watercolor, colored pencil, and pastel. His ability to breathe life into his subjects, whether it be a majestic wolf in a snow-covered forest or a delicate flower in bloom, has earned him a devoted following of collectors and admirers. Today, Bogle continues to create breathtaking works of art from his home studio in the Seattle area, drawing inspiration from the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife that surround him.
