Jason Mernick was born in the United States in 1966. He has  been sculpting metal in California for several years. His dedication to the art has given him the opportunity to create metal sculptures in many different themes. Mernick’s work, including commissions, ranges from small wall hangings to monumental sized outdoor sculptures.

“I like to work everything extremely hot with a torch. I like the element of danger associated with making my art. If I am not paying complete attention while I am creating my art I might get hurt. In my opinion my work is the art of danger.”
