Artwork Description
On a recent trip to the site of the Battle of Little Big Horn and Crow Agency, I was fortunate to come across a Crow family who were all great models. I particularly enjoyed watching this little girl lovingly play with her favorite doll as if she were her mother. My painting, “Mother’s Favorite” portrays a little Crow girl from the 1870’s and was inspired by this encounter.
