	Artwork Description
“A mother grizzly can become aggressive and dangerous when approached by a hiker; they are very protective of their young. The only way I knew to get this close to bears in a natural setting was in my imagination. Watching a grizzly mother with her cubs is a delight for the eyes. They cover a lot of ground to find berries, and the little cubs soon get tired of that. When mother’s moment comes to take a nap after all that good food, the cubs can settle down also, and all the family will sleep together.”
