This painting represents a magical encounter that I had with this cow elk while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. I was standing on a wooden bridge crossing the stream, when she appeared and slowly walked down the water towards the bridge quite close to me. It was indeed one of those magical moments where time stands still!
