“Pack horse trips are perhaps the best way to get away from the modern world. They are especially good for knitting relationships. At their best they put you in your own little world, surrounded by nature.
Our family has done three of them. The particular moment caught in this painting shows our daughter Sarah with her husband Rob taking a break during our family trip in the Willmore wilderness area north of Jasper Park in Alberta. I did see the golden eagle there but not at that moment.”
