“This old cabin is one of three-in-a-row that sit along the Flat-Rock River not far from my home and it always reminded me of my childhood days when my Dad used to take us camping and fishing along the river. Although during those times we never had the luxury of a cabin, this river setting still brings back those fond memories with Dad and my brothers and our great camping trips. The old cabins are still there & I’ve painted one or another of them several times, each time in different seasons, or different mediums & size, but they always make a fun painting subject.”
