Artwork Description
Thinking it may be a great subject to paint, I took a photo of an old barn I discovered sitting delict in a field beside a beautiful old tree. About a year later, upon re-analyzing the photo before I started a painting, I realized that this was not a barn after all, but instead, it was an old abandoned house,,, someone’s house! This intrigued me even more, imagining the life, and the stories this old place could tell, made the subject even more intriguing, so I finished it off by revitalizing the house in the painting back into the home it once was.
