“I went with some painting buddies to Yosemite National Park in mid-October last year to do some plein air painting. The weather was perfect and we had a glorious day. This stand of bright yellow foliage caught my eye as I walked along the river bank. So we got out our painting gear and captured the scene before the afternoon sun disappeared behind the mountains. ”
