Artwork Description

“It seems that every year it’s the same thing; sunny days, bright colorful flowers, and meadows filled with delicious food. But always too soon the days get shorter and colder. The elk try to beat the winter by moving from the high country to more manageable terrain with less snow. But just like last year the snow finds the large herds of elk and food is harder to find. Sometimes there are hidden valleys with warm water seeping up from the earth and delicious grasses and herbs can be enjoyed, even in winter. Maybe it will be the same thing next year.”
