Nature is a wonder. I’ll pass by an object, having seen it a hundred times before, and then suddenly I’ll notice it like it was new and novel and amazing with all its rough organic surface, colour, and scent. These inconspicuous little caches are also a marvel of nature, requiring the destructive forces of fire to give up their hidden treasures for the purpose of regrowth and new life. It seems that our lives sometimes mirror the same, our characters being shaped and formed by the hardships, changes, and events that may tear down the old and allow for the growth of something new.
