In this image, we are being treated with the gifts of an early spring morning. The weather has warmed up enough for this boy and his dog to go fishing for the first time this year. The boy is so intent on the anticipation of his first catch that he doesn’t even seem to hear the horse and carriage traveling above. The couple in this carriage might also be taking their first ride of the season, off for a pleasant trip in the countryside’s fresh air. Whether you choose to stay with the boy or go with the couple for a ride through the covered bridge and beyond, either way, this day will be filled with the enjoyment and delight that only comes with spring.
