On Sunday, at the market in Tlacolula, Mexico, this small flower market was a favorite of mine. As you passed through this section, it was filled with the scents, colors and presentations of various flowers waiting for you to take a bundle home. A woman with a colorful headscarf came strolling through the market, carefully looking at the array of flowers neatly presented for the passersby. She was an inspiring sight that influenced the creation of this piece.
