Artwork Description
Quite literally, the town blacksmith helped forge the new American Frontier. I have a deep respect for this art form and I am have been drawn to the ways of smithing for many years. With his hand cranked bellows firing up the coal embers, he prepares to fashion a much needed tool for a customer. Illuminated by the bellows, I sought to pretty and celebrate the skills of this much need craftsman of his day.
