“I observed this Bateleur Eagle while on safari in Africa. We worked our way from the top of Botswana to the bottom. Besides the amazing big game animals I saw, like elephant, lion and buffalo etc…. there were many incredible birds to see. Flamingo, Lilac breasted rollers, Maribou stork to name a few but I particularly loved the birds of prey. The Bateleur was one of my favorites! His colors are like no other raptor which made him fun to paint!”
