Basking Behemoths
by Rachelle Siegrist
"I love rhinos, the amazing texture of their skin, their large bodies and short stubby legs, and prehistoric appearance. I cannot imagine a world without these incredible animals, yet sadly most likely they will disappear in my lifetime in the wild!"

A Magical Encounter
by Rachelle Siegrist
"This painting represents a magical encounter that I had with this cow elk while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. I was standing on a wooden bridge crossing the stream, when she appeared and slowly walked down the water towards the bridge quite close to me. It was indeed one of those magical moments where time stands still!"

Hiawatha Falls
by Charles White
"I grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and just to the north of town was Hiawatha Park that we liked to visit in the summer and fall. My favourite part of the park was Hiawatha Falls and it was the first subject painted when I started oil painting at 12 years old. My sister and I went back for a high school reunion and visited the park again and came away with this shot of the falls in early October. It brings back fond memories of my childhood."

Evening Perambulation
by Derek Wicks
"Coyotes are a very common sight in my backyard. With farmers on either side of me owning chickens I have become part of the 'game' trail. These coyotes have become so comfortable in my area that I have found them curled up having an afternoon snooze in my back of my property more than once, much to my dog Tuk’s discontent. Coyotes are also known for there ‘casual’ perambulating of their territory which evidently includes my backyard area."
